The eligibility timeframe has changed. The awards now recognize achievements since July 1 2007, with the following exceptions:
- The Best New Company category recognizes companies in existence since July 1, 2006
- There is no timeframe for the Lifetime Achievement Award category and for web site and blog entries (it doesn't matter when the nominated web site or blog was first published)
New Categories
- Best Environmental Stewardship Program of the Year
Changed Categories
- Advertising Campaign of the Year has replaced Online Advertising Campaign of the Year. The category now accepts advertising campaigns of all types.
- The Communications Campaign of the Year category has been split into two categories: one for campaigns for a non-profit purpose and one for campaigns executed for a for-profit purpose
- The Marketing Campaign of the Year category has been split into two categories: one for the marketing of services and one for the marketing of products
