Ms. Eshoo began her journey and found National Tax Search, LLC (NTS) in 1996.  
She has worked in the real estate and mortgage industry for over 25 years with 
experience developing property tax programs and consulting for nationwide 
management of both commercial and residential real estate portfolios.  Ms. Eshoo 
watched many of her clients struggle with fragmented technologies and manual 
processes, which led her to envision a web-based system that would automate 
tasks and create efficiency for tax administration. In a bold move, Ms. Eshoo 
sought an investor to finance system development, and within two years, National 
Tax Search, LLC was up and running.  

Although the process of tracking, reporting, and paying property taxes is a 
challenging task, especially when real estate portfolios are geographically diverse 
and governed by multiple taxing bodies, National Tax Search has the expertise to 
handle any complex issues with ease. NTS takes on the significant burden of 
balancing deadlines, tracking the lowest discounts and avoiding delinquencies to 
save clients money and time. Thanks to Ms. Eshoo’s perseverance and hard work, 
National Tax Search is growing stronger each day. Ms. Eshoo began with a 
handful of employees, but currently employs a staff of 50 individuals.

companies, pension funds and real estate owners nationwide.

NTS works closely with clients to customize property tax solutions and offers a 
variety of options. Lori takes pride in her dedicated, trained staff and their
ability to always put the clients’ needs first.  Ms. Eshoo is confident in her company’s 
property tax service and technology, that if a client ever incurs a property tax 
penalty as a result of error incurred by NTS, she guarantees 100% payment of the 
entire penalty.  

Ms. Eshoo has been an active volunteer with the Y-ME National Breast Cancer 
Organization™ since 2000. She is also a member of industry organizations such 
as the American Bankers Association, Mortgage Bankers Association, Institute of 
Property Taxation, Association of Assessing Officers, and the Commercial Real 
Estate Women Network.  

Due to her dedication and entrepreneur spirit, Ms. Eshoo is a 2005 Stevie Award 
winner for Women Entrepreneurs for Technology Innovator of the Year. She also 
was awarded an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2005 award in Illinois for 
the Realizing Business Potential category and earned her status as a member of 
the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Hall of Fame. The Ernst & Young 
Entrepreneur Of The Year recognizes and honors the most successful and 
innovative entrepreneurial business leaders through regional, national and global 
award programs in over 100 cities and 40 countries.

companies, pension funds and real estate owners nationwide. Ms. Eshoo's 
perspective placed her in a position to assist lending institutions the
expertise to interact with tax authorities, culminating in the development of an online tax
