The eNewsletter program was first initiated and published on HP.com in 2001. Based on intensive customer research and continual testing and improvement, the program has made multiple advancements since its initial launch.

In order to increase customer loyalty and boost HP/customer engagement, HP created its customized eNewsletters program, which delivers tips, promotions and relevant information on security updates and patches for the customer’s products. Additionally, HP customers benefit by receiving newsletters that compiles information rather than being bombarded with multiple patch alerts and promotions. Because 90% of the content assembled for each issue is a result the customers’ product ownership, operating system and individual interests, each newsletter delivers information that is important to the subscriber. In return, HP can finely target promotional offerings to influence repurchase.
