Discovery Networks selected EffectiveUI to create an interactive 3D application
that enables scientists easily to contribute data that is readily understandable
by consumers. The application allows people to interact, share, collaborate and
engage with scientific data in an easy-to-use, immersive, fun user interface.
Site visitors can create their own environmental scenarios and share them by
placing widgets on social networking sites, blogs and websites.
Built with Adobe Flex, the application taps into NASA and NOAA databases to
allow visitors, in real-time 3D, to view the status of climate changes,
including carbon dioxide, polar melting, deforestation, endangered species,
dramatic weather changes, etc.
