Hilarie Koplow-McAdams has a strong track record of leading growing businesses.
With more than twenty years in technology sales and management, Koplow-McAdams
has most recently helped salesforce.com continue its tremendous rate of customer
acquisition and ongoing leadership in the enterprise software industry. She
leads salesforce.com’s worldwide sales teams and is responsible for the
continued growth and success of the company’s sales organization.

Koplow-McAdams spent the past year growing core markets, acquiring new customers
and ensuring that existing customers are successful. She believes that the sales
process begins with the very first interaction the customer has with a vendor
and that the conversation with the customer never really ends. For her, success
is not only about gaining a sale, but more importantly, about gaining a customer
for life. Salesforce.com now has 82,400 customers and 94% customer satisfaction
according to a salesforce.com Customer Relationship Survey conducted by MarketTools.

During the past year, Koplow-McAdams played a big role in salesforce.com’s
growth through a challenging global economy. With the help of Koplow-McAdams and
her executive team, salesforce.com recently announced record quarterly revenue
of $394 million, an increase of 25% year-over-year. Salesforce.com added 5,100
net new customers in the quarter and was also ranked the fourth fastest growing
company on Fortune’s 100 Fastest Growing Companies for 2010.

Additionally, Koplow-McAdams has been a driving force in evangelizing to
enterprises salesforce.com’s vision of a new paradigm in cloud computing – Cloud
2, which is social, collaborative and delivers real-time access to data and
information across any device. She is helping salesforce.com customers and her
own organization move to Cloud 2 with Salesforce Chatter, the company’s
cloud-based enterprise social collaboration application and platform. Chatter
enables employees to collaborate across their company by leveraging social
features popularized by consumer social networking sites, like profiles, status
updates and delivering data in real-time. Koplow-McAdams has helped drive
Chatter adoption across her own organization, helping deliver important
information to salesforce.com’s global sales teams and presenting a consistent
experience to their customers around the world.

Hilarie Koplow-McAdams is executive vice president, worldwide sales at
salesforce.com. In this role, Koplow-McAdams is focused on growing the
company’s business globally.

A longtime veteran in the software sales industry, Koplow-McAdams spent 18 years
in enterprise sales with Oracle Corporation. During her tenure there, she held a
variety of sales leadership roles where she led innovative sales approaches. As
senior vice president of the direct sales channel, she drove the company’s rapid
growth in both the technology and applications markets.

Prior to joining salesforce.com, Koplow-McAdams was vice president of direct
sales and a member of the executive committee at Intuit, where her
responsibilities included driving sales strategies and execution for Intuit’s
small business solutions.
