Nomination Title: Bryan Brorsen, President/COO

Tell the story about what this nominee achieved since the beginning of July 2012 (up to 500 words). Focus on specific accomplishments, and relate these accomplishments to past performance or industry norms. Be sure to mention obstacles overcome, innovations or discoveries made, and outcomes:

Have you visited New York City? Did you tour the Empire State Building? For 40 years since its completion in 1931, it was the tallest building on Earth, a feat of modern industrialism, and to this day, its visitors can’t help be inspired by its grandeur. But as thousands of visitors stand awe-inspired, they stand unable to see the inner structure of the building – the thousands of I-beams and tons of concrete that make up the skeleton of the structure. They will never see the small stains on the bricks etched by beads of sweat that dripped from the workers’ foreheads. Therein lies the panache, the beauty, the heart of the architecture.

In the same way, a sales organization can be formidable judged by its results alone, but the real heart lies within the building blocks used to construct it – the technologies leveraged, the processes executed, the trial-and-error of finding what works best, and discovering and retaining the best sales talent in the world. The architect of SalesStaff’s world-class inside-sales organization is none other than President and COO, Bryan Brorsen. His work stands above his peers.

SalesStaff, a premier provider of B2B appointment-setting and lead generation solutions, would scarcely be the multi-million dollar company it is without Bryan’s talent and dedication. Bryan's been a stalwart in the Demand Generation industry for fifteen years. As President and COO, Bryan's responsible for delivering thousands of sales leads and appointments to fulfill the requirements of SalesStaff’s client campaigns. He works tirelessly, juggling 100+ campaigns at any given time, overseeing the activity of 50 sales representatives with a total of 75 staff members in his operation. Bryan provides an abundance of resources in training, technology, support, and account management to enable his team to make over 5000 phone dials per day and deliver thousands of sales opportunities to clients annually.

His achievements are numerous.

• Built a staff of 50+ Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs) in four years
• Since 2009, delivered on over 400 client campaigns to generate sales appointments and leads
• In that timeframe, SalesStaff has generated over 15,000 sales appointments and 30,000 sales leads
• His team has contributed over $2.5 billion in sales opportunity value to clients
• Developed and leveraged technology facilitating over 2 million dials annually from his team of ISRs
• Established processes to manage over 1 million contact records

Under Bryan’s leadership, SalesStaff has grown 3,833% from 2009 to 2012, resulting in SalesStaff’s ranking of 87th on the 2013 Inc. 500 Fastest-Growing Companies in the USA – 2nd place in the Houston metro area, and 10th in the Business Services vertical. Also, SalesStaff was honored by the Houston Business Journal as one of the Fastest-Growing Companies in Houston, ranking 19 on their 2013 Houston Fast 100.

The numbers speak volumes but if one spends some time with Bryan, immediately they’re taken by the fact that he’s a tremendous leader. Neither flashy nor easily riled, he provides a steady, calming tone to his team. He’s composed under pressure and delivers results while maintaining a consummately professional demeanor. In short, Bryan’s the architect of one of the fastest-growing companies in America.
