As the leader in crowd-sourced business information and data services, Jigsaw is
a crowd-sourced directory of business contacts that includes more than 23
million business contact records and more than four million companies. Jigsaw is
used by sales, marketing, and recruiting professionals to access the most
accurate business contact data in order to help them achieve business and sales
success. Jigsaw can be used as a standalone tool or integrated with any CRM
system or data container on the market to ensure seamless cleaning of data.

Because of the growing value of crowd-sourced business contact data in the
cloud, one of the company’s largest accomplishments last year was being acquired
by salesforce.com, the leader in enterprise cloud computing, for $142 million.
The Jigsaw Community – which contributes to the quality and breadth of Jigsaw’s
database by maintaining and updating business contacts – grew from 800,000
members in July 2009 to 1.4 million today. Thirty-six thousand contacts are
updated daily and 14,000 new contacts are added daily.

In September, Jigsaw launched a new developer program so companies integrating
Jigsaw can give free Jigsaw data to customers, let its customers use their own
Jigsaw accounts to acquire contact data, or resell Jigsaw data and add a new
revenue stream to their business. Companies such as SugarCRM,  Jobvite,
ChatStat, and Visitat participated in the developer program.

Additionally, Jigsaw launched Jigsaw for Salesforce, a new business data service
exclusive to Salesforce CRM customers. Built leveraging native salesforce.com
technologies, Jigsaw provides a seamless integration, a new user interface,
robust analytics and delivers real-time updates to contact and company
information within Salesforce CRM and real-time updates through Salesforce
Chatter.

Jigsaw launched a new email learning center in August to promote email marketing
success. The email learning center provides marketers with best practices, CAN-
SPAM and optimization webinars, white papers, case studies, and tips from
experts for optimizing email marketing success.

Over the past year, multiple API developers have integrated with Jigsaw to
increase their ROI. ChatStat used its live chat software to directly connect
with customers and prospects, and by leveraging Jigsaw’s data, was able to save
a complete CRM record of the chat. VisiStat, which provides real-time web
analytics, used Jigsaw to create LeadCaster, a suite of real-time tools that
identify companies visiting the website to get their business contacts.
VisitorTrack created a tracking application that captures and converts anonymous
business visitors to a website into a detail view. By integrating with Jigsaw,
VisitorTrack customers are able to get company name, target executives,
addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, website URL, and page view detail.

Through a partnership with Eloqua, Jigsaw customers can access content within
Eloqua’s marking automation platform, giving marketers a single source for their
marketing campaign needs like contacts and measurement tools. LexisNexis,
Hoovers, and Dun & Bradstreet have partnered with Jigsaw to share its real-time
and accurate business contact information. Hoover added more than seven million
of Jigsaw’s contacts into its Connect Mail Service, and Dun & Bradstreet began
using Jigsaw to source executive information.

Kevin Akeroyd is the general manager of salesforce.com’s Jigsaw business unit.
Before Jigsaw, Akeroyd held management positions at large public companies such as
Acxiom Digital (previously Digital Impact) and RR Donnelley & Sons Company. He
also served as president and CEO at several start-ups, including Gallery Player,
Inc. and The Loan Page, Inc. Akeroyd is an alumnus of the EPSO program at the
Stanford Graduate School of Business, and holds a degree in Business
Administration from the University of Washington.
