Gary's ability to manage a diverse team of sellers in a dynamic environment has helped lead to his success at AOL. While other Managers around him flounder with the inevitable change in the online world, Gary's uncanny ability to adapt and redirect resources in the right direction is rare.
Without his leadership, the Ignite team at AOL would not, could not, have grown at the rate it did. His keen sense of developing and managing relationships, in our ever changing online universe, is unrivaled.

Gary Sherwood works in the Dulles VA - based office of AOL Media Networks; a company who's advertising revenues are up an incredible 40% (year over year) as more and more traditional advertisers begin to shift their dollars online. Gary joined AOL in 2003 and has consistently been an esteemed contributor to the organization, overseeing one of its most successful sales teams whose varied client roster includes both instantly recognizable brands like Publishers Clearing House, Jenny Craig, GEICO, Walt Disney World, and Red Bull to a long list of travel partners, financial insitutions, and advertising agencies. At AOL, Gary has been both a three time Circle of Excellence Winner (2003-2005) and President's Club inductee (2006). Prior to his time at AOL, Gary spent over a decade in traditional marketing working on both sides of the agency/client relationship.
