New York, NY – October 16, 2003 – Due to the overwhelming numbers of requests for deadline extensions received for The 2004 International Business Awards - "The International Stevie Awards," the organizers have officially extended the entry deadline to Friday, November 21.

"To date we have received several hundred nominations from companies large and small around the world," said Stevie Awards founder and president Michael Gallagher.  "But we've also received scores of requests for deadline extensions.  We're extending the deadline so that every company has the opportunity to participate in the first edition of this important new award."

He added that entrants will not be charged any late or penalty fees, and that nominations submitted after the original entry deadline (October 15) will in no way be penalized.

For information on submitting nominations, visit the Awards Web site at www.stevieawards.com/iba, or contact the Stevie Awards office at 11 Penn Plaza, 5th Floor, New York, NY 10001; phone 212-946-4773; fax 212-504-3014; email info@stevieawards.com.
