Briefly describe this entry's communications objectives and how it met those objectives (up to 100 words):
Our objective was to position State Street externally as an innovation and technology leader, highlighting the breadth and depth of our expertise. We achieved this by drafting separate articles attributed to four of our top executives, exploring several facets of how technology is shaping financial services. It was a true cross-company effort. To maximize our traction, we created a multimedia web site http://www.statestreet.com/vision/technology/ to house the PDF report, a video by our CIO and a podcast on cloud computing.
The site was a huge success. In just the first two weeks, the report was downloaded over 1,600 times.
