Briefly describe this entry's communications objectives and how it met those objectives (up to 100 words). If your video is online, include here its web address, full-path, enclosed in square brackets - for example, [http://www.webaddress.com/video.html]:
Nurses all over the UK have a difficult time from many perspectives and at some point in their careers many ask why they chose to become a nurse. This film was commissioned to air at the Royal College of Nursing’s Annual Congress - the most important event in the UK medical calendar. The objective of the film is to spark a sense of pride among nurses helping them reconfirm why they became a nurse, and to feel supported by the Royal College of Nursing.
The film met this important objective by telling a number of real life stories, outlining what it was that first made people want to become nurses, in order to inspire and re-kindle similar feelings among the audience. These are interspersed with archive footage and radio clips to give a sense of belonging and heritage to the RCN brand.
The film received a standing ovation.
