   1. Tell the story about this nominated product or service (up to 500 words). Describe its functions, features, benefits, and sales results to date. You may include here hyperlinks to product photographs and data sheets. IMPORTANT: Begin each link with http://, and enclose each link in square brackets; for example, [http://www.youraddress.com]:

MediaSolv™ – a revolution in digital evidence management
MediaSolv is the most significant introduction of technology to capture,
integrate and manage evidence in a digital format and help Federal, state, and
local law enforcement agencies to improve conviction rates, protect the rights
of citizens and officers, and – benefiting the public – close cases.

MediaSolv is a direct response to the growing recognition and increasing
legislative mandates – in the US and around the world – to digitally record
custodial interviews for capital crimes and other major offenses.

TranTech has presented to state legislative bodies in the states of Maryland
and California on the benefits of integrated digital evidence management,
particularly focused on the video interview solutions.

MediaSolv product family delivers the power and flexibility of integrated
Digital Evidence Management (iDEM) technology to Federal, state, and local law
enforcement agencies that have the need to capture, store, and provide secure
access to digital evidence assets using a standard Web browser.

          MediaSolv VIS – Major Features
MediaSolv VIS Metropolitan – the most powerful digital evidence management
solution in the VIS product family – represents a comprehensive platform to
support a full range of digital evidence management in a large organization
with multiple geographically dispersed divisions that require a central digital
asset repository and access to digital assets via customer’s private network.

In addition to managing assets from video interviews, MediaSolv VIS
Metropolitan supports multiple media types: audio files, in-car video, scanned
investigative notes, PDF (Portable Document Format) files, and digital photos
taken by criminal investigators and law enforcement agents.

MediaSolv VIS Metropolitan can be integrated with third party content
management systems, hierarchical storage management systems, and enterprise
          security management applications.

MediaSolv VIS (Video Interview Solution) benefits
MediaSolv VIS product family has been built from the ground-up to specifically
support evidentiary and investigative requirements of Federal, state, and local
law enforcement agencies.  Major advantages include:
          • Protection of rights. For both citizens and law enforcement officers.
          • Protection from lawsuits. Video discourages suits against officers.
          • Increased conviction rates.  Video interviews ensure that proper procedures
          are always followed.
          • Greater productivity. Law enforcement officers spend less time in court and
          more time on the street.

          MediaSolv – the industry leader
MediaSolv is an integral element in Washington, DC strategy – laid out by Mayor
Adrian M. Fenty and Police Chief Cathy Lanier – “to optimize the city’s
community policing effort” and “foster innovation in routine MPD activities
while enhancing fiscal accountability” (Goal 5 of Mayor Fenty’s administration
strategy for optimizing the city’s community policing efforts)

MediaSolv will be one of the operational tools officers will use to improve
efficiency and effectiveness of investigative activities.

TranTech, Inc has successfully implemented over 80 video interview rooms in
Chicago and Washington, DC, supporting Violent Crimes and Youth / Family
departments. Our early adopter, Chicago Police Department, won an award from
IACP (International Association of Chiefs of Police) for innovative use of
          technology.

Among several significant opportunities, two major potential projects include:
national police agency in Europe and 5th largest police department in North
          America.
