To meet changes in the marketplace and support the operational strategy which includes: focusing resource and expertise on high touch - high value services; matching service excellence with cost excellence; leveraging economies of scale through globalization; and embracing extended convergence of technologies, both the EMEA and AsiaPac businesses migrated to the new global provisioning platforms. These significant phases of Globalization brought three BT Conferencing regions onto the same shared platforms and enable our customers to receive a recognizable and similar service globally. The provisioning platform cutover alone contained over 70 activities and was completed in one weekend. Additionally, a rigorous four-week training schedule was implemented to ensure that all call centers were familiar with the globalized portfolio offering as well as the new operating systems. All this was completed while maintaining our 98% customer satisfaction globally and year-on-year volume growth which was 40% for the second year in a row.
The move toward a globalized offering has seen the need for product changes to key portfolio offerings and support services.
