Nomination Title: Eagle's Flight Product Development Team

1. Tell the story about what this nominated team achieved in the past year (up to 500 words). Focus on specific accomplishments, and relate these accomplishments to past performance or industry norms. Be sure to mention obstacles overcome, innovations or discoveries made, and outcomes:

Our product development team continues to design cutting edge training solutions
to meet the needs of our clients.

In Spring 2004, they developed a training program to meet a client’s need for
something highly motivating and educational for their 3300 store managers. The
challenge was to develop something that would be engaging and logistically sound
for such a large group at one time, and how to effectively weave the learning
throughout the 3 days, while complementing the rest of the company's agenda
items.

The team developed three, 90 minute sessions to be delivered on the three
consecutive days of the client's annual meeting. Day One consisted of a brand
new, high energy experiential simulation, Firing on all Eight™, based on a racing
theme and using multi-voting technology. Their entire group successfully
competed in this experience at one time, in one location. Day Two took the form of
a Quiz Show, focusing on the company’s key learning objectives. Day Three was
a debrief of the learning from the three days, using the company’s high performers.

The client was thrilled with the result, saying: “Wow! What an impactful learning
experience.  Never have so many people learned so much in such a significant
way.  Over 3,000 managers were highly engaged in a simulation that mirrored their
day to day work.  I view Eagle’s Flight as a valued partner to drive results
through learning”.

Another client needed a teambuilding program that could be delivered
simultaneously to over 2500 participants at 3 locations across the United States -
and, they needed a two-week turnaround!

It was apparent from the budgetary and program time constraints (30 minutes),
that a facilitator-driven training event would not fit the bill.  So, our
developers came up with the concept of using music and rhythm to create a 30 minute DVD-based experience that was interactive, simple to execute and facilitator independent. The new program – Dog Chicken Dog™, delivered a strong message of the need to work in harmony and the value of individual contribution to the final outcome. The client was thrilled with the result, participants loved the program and we now have a unique addition to our conference events that addresses a need in the marketplace.
