The most significant events organized and supported by Business League this
year were:
1. All-Russia Golden Nets Contest – is held annually among major retail chain
companies in the trade, catering and services fields.
First award ceremony was held on September 12, 2002. There were 200
participants and 13 winners. The Second awards gala for the winners of Contest
was organized by the Business League Communication Group with support of the
Moscow Government on May 20, 2003. The awarding ceremony was attended by
over 300 guests, including CEOs of the leading Russian chain companies, well-
known TV-hosts, writers, composers, government spokesmen and mass media
representatives.
The Golden Nets 2003 awards were given to 17 nominated companies by the
members of the Contest Organizing and Monitoring Committees, including
representatives of the state authorities, academic and art circles. The event was
dated for the 300th anniversary of the City on the Neva river. The mass media
interest in the event was enormous.
2. The Second International Conference “Transparency of business in Russia:
production, trading, finances”
The conference was held on November, 19, 2002. It was organized by Business
League Communication Group. General partner: Savings bank of Russian
Federation. The main topics were as follows: “State and public organizations role
in the transparent business formation”, “Transparent policy in various fields of
economy. Corporate management”, “Information openness of Russian companies
as a tool of increase in investment appeal”.
Among discussion participants there were remarkable figures such as first vice
minister of economic development and trade of the Russian Federation M. Dmitriev
and vice chairman of the Federal Commission of Market Equality of Russia A.
Pleshakov, many remarkable representatives of the political and economical
circles.
3. Creating and Maintaining of Russian Pharmaceuticals Manufacturers
Association (RPMA) image in Russia
Since October 2002 The Business League Communication Group provided it’s
services concerning creating and promotion of Russian Pharmaceuticals
Manufacturers Association image and it’s strategic positioning in Russia.
The Business League Communication Group hold all the information activity of
RPMA, and evolved it’s maintenance into Russian information field by creating a
continuous media interface; created image profile of RPMA that made possible it’s
positive positioning in Russian media; initiated a number of press interviews with
RPMA leaders and executives; arranged regular release of the info concerning
RPMA activities; positioned RPMA management team as the leaders within
Russian business community; prepared and released the concern’s profiles and
performance news through the media. All these activities resulted in creating a
solid RPMA image and positioned RPMA as a professional reliable and fast
