
Chair of Customer Service Category Judging Troy Carrothers, Kohl’s Department Stores
Troy Carrothers is the Senior Vice President of Credit for Kohl’s Department Stores. His responsibilities include leading the Kohl’s Credit Card business, managing Kohl’s Credit Operations & Service Centers, risk management for all Kohl’s and non-Kohl’s Credit Card business in-store and on-line, and corporate customer service functions. Prior to assuming his current role, Troy held the position of Vice President of Credit Operations, managing Kohl’s Customer Service Contact Centers, Credit Systems, and Training.
Troy began his financial services career with Fidelity Investments and later moved to Citigroup. During his early experiences with these organizations, Troy held management roles of increasing responsibility in investments, credit risk management, finance, customer service, and credit operations in the United States and Latin America.
As an active member of several charitable organizations for children (Junior Achievement and Bright, among others) and a part-time college professor, Troy is highly involved in the community. He is also on the board of several professional and charitable organizations in Wisconsin.
Troy holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Business Administration. He currently resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with his wife, Alice, and his daughter, Caroline.
