Company Categories

Recognizing the achievements of entire companies (for-profit or non-profit, including associations).  The information requirements for entries in these categories are generally
a. An essay of up to 500 words describing the nominated organization's achievements since January 1 2008
b. A biography of the leader(s) of the nominated organization of up to 100 words
c. Optionally, a list of web site address of news stories, press releases, and other online documents that support the nomination

B01. Best Overall Company of the Year

B02. Best New Company of the Year (for companies that began operations since January 1 2006)

B03. Business Turnaround of the Year (for companies that showed a significant operational or financial improvement over the prior year)

B04. Most Innovative Company of the Year (recognizing overall achievement in product and/or marketing, sales, manufacturing, management, etc. innovation)

B05. Business Innovation of the Year (new category for 2009, recognizing singular innovations in product and/or marketing, sales, manufacturing, management, etc., by an organization or an individual)

B06. Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year (recognizing companies' contributions to society)

B07. Environmental Responsibility Program of the year (recognizing companies' stewardship of environmental resources)

B08. Fastest-Growing Company of the Year (new category for 2009, recognizing outstanding revenue growth since the beginning of 2008)
