In the style of the VH1 expose series, Behind the Music, this documentary gave
the Siemens Medical Solutions sales force an insider perspective on day-to-day
challenges facing a large university hospital; a big city medical center; a
small community hospital; and a diagnostic imaging center. Administrators,
physicians, and technologists candidly shared operational frustrations and
described technology solutions they believe would improve patient care. The
video did not shy away from addressing tough issues, including financial and
competitive pressures; balancing operating efficiency and a teaching mission;
trasitioning to film less diagnostic imaging; and attracting and retaining
quality staff.
