The 2005 report was the culmination of a three-year effort to capitalize on Scientific Atlanta’s reputation for innovation. The 2003 report (“Focused on innovation”) documented our leadership in bringing to market innovative products. The 2004 report (“Innovation. Results.”) demonstrated that our leadership in innovation had driven superior financial results. Finally, the 2005 report (“Innovation creating opportunity) showed how our innovative products and services create business opportunities for Scientific Atlanta and our customers, cable and telephone companies, as well as provide useful, satisfying services for consumers. Feedback validated that the innovation message resonated well with shareholders, and financial and industry analysts.
