The first wrapped bus was on the street on August 31, 2004 and the second was
on the street September 1, 2004.

   2. Briefly describe this nomination’s communications objectives and how it met those objectives (up to 100 words):

To raise awareness of Juniper Networks in the Washington, DC Metro area.  The
campaign targeted DoD, Civilian, and Homeland Security audiences.  This was
also a soft launch of Juniper Networks' federal division.

This campaign complemented a run of advertising in 'Government Computer News'
and 'Federal Computer Week' as well as outdoor advertising placement in metro
stations.
