365 Incorporated (“365 Main”), founded by a group of individuals intensely involved in building and operating Internet Data Centers during the boom of the late 90’s through 2001, created a plan that would change the face of the existing data center ownership and ultimately transform its industry position. The goal of 365 Main is to operate a profitable Internet data center in the Bay Area, a seismic Zone 4 earthquake region, providing trusted, secure, world-class services in a super-structure built to withstand an earthquake and other disasters of biblical proportions.
Developing the business plan of an owner-operator partnership, 365 Main stepped forward offering a flexible data center infrastructure with staff that understands and adapts to customer needs. The base line for re-positioning 365 as an industry leader was to offer premium data center space at below current market rates. 365’s ability to support this offering is through the acquisition of the $130 million data center improvement for $2.3 million and new improved operating efficiencies resulting in reduced overall operating expenses. These cost savings are directly passed on to 365 customers. 365 also highlights maximum customer choices. 365 operates as a neutral data-center, offering customers a wide range of choices for bandwidth and managed services. This philosophy differs from the old offerings where the providers offered a subjective set of services that often times were more expensive and of lower quality.
365 revenues have continued to grow quarter after quarter signing an average of two new customers every week. 365 is on target to achieve Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) positive Q3 2004 and profitable by Q4 2004. 365 has emerged as the most secure and reliable data center available on the West coast.
The operational plan was simple - provide customers with a financially stable real estate platform operated by industry professionals enabling the customers’ competitive choices for services.
