Nomination Title: Améo Essential Oils Product Division Launch Campaign

Améo Essential Oils is a new and budding product division launched by Zija International, a Utah-based network marketing company focused on producing high-quality health and wellness products that leverage nature’s most beneficial ingredients. This passion for top-quality, natural products has flourished and recently expanded into Améo Essential Oils.

We wanted to create a line of products that will revolutionize the health and wellness world and change the way people look at taking care of their mind, body and soul. We set out to provide essential oils and tools that help users feel their best, look their best, and be their best selves—all while having the energy and vitality needed to enjoy life. This builds upon our “Life Unlimited” mantra and company culture.

In order to meet our lofty goals, we spent an entire year researching, developing, planning, and creating the Améo Essential Oils products—as well as accompanying tools and marketing materials. This required extensive brand positioning and creative direction research leading up to the division launch in September 2014.

We quickly committed to a focus on quality and pure essential oils, with a strong science-based background to back each and every product. In order to provide this, we created a 5-step process to ensure excellence for consumers. We named and call this process CERTI-5™, which is now a core part of our Améo Essential Oils division. A CERTI-5™ endorsement requires the following:

1. Sourcing best practices. For the botanicals used to create Améo Essential Oils, we partner only with farmers who grow and harvest them in a sustainable, eco-friendly, and ethically-sound way.
2. Validation of final product quality and purity. This includes numerous industry-standard and unique tests to ensure that we are providing beneficial products to our consumers.
3. Delivery of the extracted oils through bottling, packing, and finally shipping to the consumer. We acquired pharmaceutical-grade manufacturing facilities and the most scientifically-advanced equipment and technology available to confirm that the end products are of the utmost quality.
4. The Améo Scientific Advisory Board. We created a board of industry-leading researchers, doctors, scientists, and essential oil experts. This team oversees all aspects of the CERTI-5™ process.
5. The Améo Difference. We want our consumers to be as confident in the quality and purity of Améo Essential Oils as we are. To facilitate this, we created a website and online library that showcases exclusive details about each essential oil bottle. Users can enter the unique batch code on the bottom of each bottle and then instantly gain instant access to the tests performed on the particular batch of oil and its results.

We quickly learned, even before Améo’s launch, that our commitment to quality products set us apart as a company. Zija International’s graphic designers, copywriters, videographers, web designers, project managers, communication specialists and leaders worked together as an in-house creative marketing firm to accomplish a put-together, organized, and first-rate marketing campaign. Informative websites, booklets, product profiles, labels, videos, and more were created to provide our consumers with end products that they could embrace and make a part of their everyday lives.

When launch time came in September 2014, we experienced a huge rush of health and wellness advocates who were excited to be a part of this distinctive essential oil experience. Nearly 4,000 attended the live launch of Améo Essential Oils in Salt Lake City, Utah. We were able to see the immediate success of our yearlong preparation and marketing campaign with about 2,500 Améo “Founder” Kits purchased, more than $11.5 million in company sales during the first month, and almost 7,000 Améo Distributors enrolled since September.
