1. Tell the story about this nominated product or service (up to 525 words). Describe its function, features, benefits, and performance to date: TEXT REDACTED FOR PUBLICATION

AirWatch® Secure Content Locker® is part of the AirWatch Enterprise Mobility Management suite. AirWatch Secure Content Locker protects sensitive content in a corporate container and provides employees with a central point to securely access the latest sales presentation, board book or financial report from their mobile device. In order to stay productive, employees need anytime, anywhere access to corporate documents. Mobile device users are increasingly adopting widely available, free file-sharing services, and these applications can put sensitive company data at risk because they lack the strict security components required for enterprise-level protection. Businesses need a way to provide convenient and secure mobile access to corporate content and enable remote employee collaboration. Administrators can provide end users with the latest corporate materials and delegate role-based access and administration privileges, along with user-specific access and privileges, so that employees only have access to the content they need.

AirWatch Secure Content Locker provides administrators control over content distribution to ensure that sensitive information remains secure. Administrators can audit and discover files, view all content inventory, add and remove files and wipe the container and all content within AirWatch Secure Content Locker from a web-based administrative console. With AirWatch Secure Content Locker, users are authenticated using existing corporate credentials. Likewise, administrators can optionally require user acceptance of a customizable Terms of Use agreement before users can access corporate data. All data and content is secured in-transit and at-rest with AES 256-bit, FIPS 140-2 compliant encryption. Administrators can prevent data loss with geofencing, copy/paste and printing restrictions and access limitations for third-party applications. Administrators can also use patented functionality watermarking and management for an additional layer of content security.

AirWatch Secure Content Locker impacts businesses across all industries, including education, finance, government, healthcare, retail, transportation and more. By enabling mobile access to corporate data, businesses can increase employee efficiency and save thousands of dollars through reduced printing and paper costs. For example, United Airlines transferred their flight manuals to electronic flight bags and stored them securely in AirWatch Secure Content Locker. Taking the weight of the flight bags from 45 pounds to one and a half pounds resulted in substantial savings of 16 million sheets of paper and about 326,000 gallons of fuel per year with AirWatch Secure Content Locker.

The AirWatch Mobile Content Management platform and its commitment to keeping corporate data secure have helped establish AirWatch as a dominant leader in mobile security. AirWatch Secure Content Locker is the perfect example of the type of innovative solution that AirWatch® by VMware® will continue to develop to keep its customers secure.
