ZAGG Inc is a leading mobile device accessories and technology company with products that protect, personalize and enhance a consumer’s mobile experience. ZAGG differentiates itself as the preferred brand by offering creative product solutions through targeted global distribution channels, with the broadest product offering in its sector. With a brand portfolio that includes ZAGG® and iFrogz®, the company manufactures and markets a complete line of products to improve the functionality of portable gadgets, including keyboards, cases, audio and protective films, through direct, retail, specialty and international channels.

The invisibleSHIELD, ZAGG’s patented flagship product, has been both a critical and financial success.  Made from a protective film covering that was developed originally to protect the leading edges of rotary blades of military helicopters, it was the first protective solution of its kind for personal electronics. To date, more than 50 million invisibleSHIELDs have been sold since the line was first introduced in 2005.

Following the success of the invisibleSHIELD, ZAGG has introduced multiple award-winning products to their lineup, including the ZAGGkeys PROplus and ZAGGkeys PROfolio+ in 2012, an extention of their widely acclaimed line of keyboard accessories for tablets and smartphones.  In 2012, ZAGG products were enthusiastically reviewed in major media outlets including The New York Times, CNN, The Wall Street Journal, PC Magazine, and ZDNet.

ZAGG has gone from a ground level startup to $264.4 million in their seventh year, and are forecasting revenue of over $313 million in 2013.  With prominent space in nearly every major electronics retailer including Best Buy, Walmart, AT&T, Verizon, RadioShack, Target, Sprint, and Cricket; as well as a powerful presence in international retail through distribution in over 50 countries.

In 2012, ZAGG added four independent board members and successfully transitioned their top leadership to an experienced new President and CEO, Randy Hales.  Under Randy’s leadership, ZAGG also combined their product organizations into a single Product Team comprised of both Product Management and Product Development.  This structure allowed the company to introduce products in all existing categories in 2012, as well as enter two new categories at International CES 2013.

Randy Hales indicated his assessment of ZAGG's accomplishments in a recent press release.  "2012 has been a year of growth and maturing for ZAGG. In addition to appointing a new CEO, ZAGG added three new independent board members this year. Early in 2012, the Company established corporate objectives and a product management discipline and, as a result, ZAGG has significantly increased the breadth and depth of our product offering," said Hales. "We expanded our invisibleSHIELD line, increased the number of tablet offerings, including the keyboard cases and folios, and expanded our power offering throughout 2012. At CES earlier this year, we introduced over 70 SKUs and two new product categories, gaming handsets and desktop audio. Overall, our record 2012 revenue was driven by brisk sales of keyboards, invisibleSHIELDs, and continued expansion of our distribution channels."
