Tell the story about what this nominated management team achieved since January 1 2012 (up to 525 words). Focus on specific accomplishments, and relate these accomplishments to past performance or industry norms. Be sure to mention obstacles overcome, innovations or discoveries made, and outcomes:

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the 2012 year proved to be an innovative and  record-breaking year for USANA Health Sciences’ and its management team. In addition to their everyday tasks over the past year, USANA’s executive management team strengthened USANA’s image with a rebranded corporate look, provided more personalized options to its nutritional supplements with kosher certifications and expanded international operations in Thailand, France, Belgium, Colombia and China.

As part of USANA’s 20th celebration, the company unveiled a complete overhaul of the company’s branded image, tagline and promise as part of the company’s long-term strategy to stay competitive in a demanding industry and establish itself as the leader in personalized nutrition. USANA’s entire rebranding effort was centered around the idea of representing USANA as a global nutritionals company set on being number one today, tomorrow and well into the future. The new logo also represents USANA as a global brand, which includes individuals from all walks of life, from all over the world, joining together in health and freedom.
The modernized, personalization-focused rebrand was officially launched at USANA’s 20th International Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah, with more than 8,000 in attendance.

In March 2013, USANA’s management team then made the decision to have a handful of its nutritional supplements Kosher certified to expand its personalization options, in several of the company’s 19 international markets. To be certified with the Organized Kashrut Laboratories (OK) symbol requires that no animal derived ingredients be used in USANA's production practices and that the leading supplement supplier uphold strict guidelines in its manufacturing processes, including an annual inspection of the facility, a monthly inspection from a local rabbi and solid documentation of every batch of raw ingredients used in kosher products.

But in the midst of all the company’s forward-thinking projects, USANA management always takes care of its employees. Employees can count on a fun, open and community-focused workplace, managed by a management team that is committed to acting on employees’ ideas and concerns. For these reasons, USANA has received 102 local, national and international awards since January 2012, and was named one of the Best Companies to Work For by Utah Business magazine for a fifth time and Outside magazine for a fourth consecutive year. Most recently, USANA was listed as the No. 1 Rated Brand in Direct Sales Based on Customer Satisfaction by ConsumerLabs.com.

As a strong leader, USANA’s CEO Dave Wentz consistently talks about the significance of having a strong team when it comes to succession planning and his wise direction continues to pay off. As a result of the hard work USANA’s management team has displayed this past year, USANA continues to strive for excellence and has maintained its impressive growth in revenue and profitability. The company reported its tenth consecutive year of mind-blowing record sales and earnings with 2012 net sales increasing 11.5 percent to a record $648.7 million. In addition, net earnings increased 30.9% over 2011, for a total of $66.4 million.

Alongside Dave, Deborah Woo, Kevin Guest, Jim Bramble, Doug Hekking, Dan Macuga, Doug Braun, Jim Brown, Dr. Carsten Smidt, Paul Jones and Rick Stambaugh, make up the international company’s executive management team.
