Since January 1, 2009, Intermark Media has made many significant accomplishments to benefit its clients, employees and the performance-based marketing industry as a whole. In early 2009, Intermark Media was recognized by Inc. 500 as one of the fastest growing companies with revenue growth of over 750% compared to an industry average growth rate of approximately 170%.
COPEAC, Intermark Media’s proprietary ad network, was recognized as one of the industry’s top affiliate networks by Website Magazine. Recruiting over 15,000 new publishers since January 1, 2009, Intermark’s affiliate network has grown to become one of the largest and most respected networks in the industry. Adding hundreds of new exclusive offers to its robust portfolio and building relationships with other ad networks has allowed Intermark to significantly expand marketing reach and maximize return on investment for publishers. Intermark Media is founded on a “complete-support” philosophy; providing world-class customer service to clients and the tools and opportunities needed by its employees to be successful. Intermark recruited twenty three new employees to add to their knowledgeable and dedicated team, improving the ratio of support staff from 2:1 to 1:1 for each account manager and account executive. Internally, Intermark Media has made significant improvements to enhance employee productivity and customer service. In 2009, Intermark’s technical team built and released an in-house system to streamline and automate employee processes to reduce the amount of time spent processing paperwork and increase the time spent with clients. Intermark’s IT team also made several updates to its internal payment system to offer more customizable and timely payouts to affiliates. The system also cut collection time for account receivables in half from net 30 to net 15 days.
President of Intermark Media, Mike Krongel, supports continual education and encourages his team to stay educated on industry matters. In 2009, Intermark joined several associations to share ideas, opportunities and best practices with other industry experts that foster industry growth and shape the future of performance-based marketing. These associations include: the American Marketing Association, the Performance Marketing Association and the Interactive Advertising Bureau.
Giving back to the community and to those less fortunate has been a core value and ingrained in Intermark’s company culture since its inception in 1999. Each year, the company contributes donations and its manpower to many local charities. Since January 1, 2009, Intermark Media has donated thousands of dollars to multiple charities and donated over 8,000 food items to Meals on Wheels. Perhaps one of the biggest accomplishments of the year for Intermark Media was the release of its Quality Assurance Program. During a time when the online advertising industry is being scrutinized by the FTC and government regulators, Intermark Media has raised the standards for online compliance and fraud monitoring. Implementing stricter compliance policies, a top-of-the-line monitoring system and a fully trained compliance team, Intermark is taking the steps to ensure the quality of its affiliate network and better protect client brands and consumer interests.
