AirTrain JFK, the light-rail system developed by the Port Authority of NY & NJ, links the eight terminals at Kennedy International Airport with public transit systems New York City Transit subway and bus service and the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR).
To communicate how customers make the connections to mass transit with AirTrain, the Port Authority developed the “cheaper/faster” campaign, which e highlights the cost-effective way to travel to Manhattan with the AirTrain JFK and NYC subway connection ($7.25) and the “faster” way to travel to Manhattan with the AirTrain JFK and LIRR connection (35 minutes).
