Inspired by the fusion of technology and nature, the Pilar™ Pull-Down Kitchen
Faucet with Touch2O™ Technology by Delta® brings state-of-the-art design and
technology into the home. Introduced in April 2008, Pilar is smartly designed
for a cleaner and more efficient way to work in the kitchen.

The innovative pull-down features three relevant technologies from Delta that
help simplify kitchen tasks and provide a revolutionary leak-free, lead-free
water delivery system. Touch2O Technology allows users to start and stop the
flow of water with a simple tap anywhere on the spout or the handle. It makes
it easier to turn off the water flow when hands are messy or when water flow
is not needed between tasks. The ability to easily control water use no matter
what task is being performed, as opposed to leaving the faucet running, makes
conserving water easy without sacrificing utility. Plus, using less hot water
means using less energy. The faucet operates manually as well as with Touch2O
functionality, while the handle adjusts flow rate and temperature.

The Pilar design incorporates a two-function, pull-down spray head that
switches from stream to spray with the click of a diverter button. A magnetic
closure called MagnaTite™ intuitively engages the spray head to its docked
position, helping to keep both the faucet and kitchen looking neat and
orderly. It also features a high-arc spout, which swivels 360 degrees for
greater functionality in the kitchen. This provides ample clearance for pots,
pans and other cooking utensils.

Pilar also includes Delta Faucet Company’s DIAMOND™ Seal Technology, an
exclusive new water delivery system that eliminates contact inside the faucet
with potential metal contaminants such as brass, copper or lead, keeping water
as pure as it entered the faucet. Additionally, the technology provides a host
of benefits to the plumber by simplifying installation and eliminating leaks
and drips from the valve. Comprised of a next generation DIAMOND™ valve and
InnoFlex™ waterways, the system reduces the number of potential leak points
and provides long lasting performance, therefore reducing the number of
callbacks. The Delta DIAMOND valve is built to last up to 10 times longer than
the industry standard. (Industry standard is based on ASME 112.18.1 at 500,000
cycles.) Testing demonstrates that the DIAMOND valve will last more than 5
million cycles. DIAMOND Seal Technology by Delta Faucet Company also meets
current legislative compliance requirements in California (AB 1953) and in
Vermont (S152) which restricts the weighted average lead content in pipes,
fittings and fixtures used to convey drinking water to 0.25% lead on wetted
surfaces by January 1, 2010.

The Pilar Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet with Touch2O Technology is an innovative
kitchen faucet on the forefront of technology, offering consumer’s high-end
functionality at an affordable price point.  Pilar is available in Chrome and
Brilliance® Stainless with an optional, coordinating soap dispenser. A five-
year warranty covers the faucet, finish and electronics.
