Appistry unlocks the power of next generation cloud computing to organizations of all sizes and across all industries, offering a more agile and scalable IT environment than ever thought imaginable. Appistry’s cloud application platform addresses the complex challenges of building, deploying and managing a wide variety of applications and services for both public and private cloud environments.
Since January 1, 2008, Appistry has pioneered the cloud computing space, introducing a platform that gives companies the power to deliver and manage cloud computing services more quickly and easily than ever before. Tackling the “toughest 80%” of cloud computing, Appistry allows companies that are migrating their heterogeneous applications to cloud-based environments to leverage a single point of application management across the enterprise. As such, Appistry is bringing the industry the first cloud application management product CloudIQ Platform, to allow simple drag-and-drop of resources between clouds, creating a unified environment for enterprise applications. Appistry’s experience in the industry has led the management team to realize that enterprises won't embrace cloud computing until they are able to deal with the numerous applications they already have. Appistry’s solutions allow the cloud to expand beyond its current status of being built for single application startups. In order for enterprises to view cloud as something more than an experiment, they need an approach for migrating and managing more than one application. This is the industry issue that Appistry has been successfully addressing.
The platform was designed from the ground up to help enterprises achieve success in highly-distributed cloud environments, building on the company's history with customers such as FedEx, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin and GeoEye.
Appistry CloudIQ Platform provides a run-time application platform that complements an organization’s existing technology choices and allows businesses to rapidly create highly scalable, service-oriented applications with minimal investment and risk. In addition to enabling linear application scalability, Appistry CloudIQ Platform also simplifies development, reduces project risk, enhances reliability and ensures applications survive infrastructure failure.
Appistry's cloud computing application platform is at the convergence of grid computing, virtualization and SOA. Together, these technologies enable a new world of "real-time" IT applications and infrastructure, which offers great promise to the enterprise, coupling the scalability benefits of grid computing, the architectural benefits of SOA, and the operational benefits of virtualization.
Today, Appistry continues to lead the way with the development of its cloud application platform. Forming partnerships with some of the leading cloud computing companies, and pursuing an aggressive speaking circuit that leverages the mindshare of its senior management team, Appistry is committed to educating the market on the importance of cloud computing in a rapidly changing business world. Its solutions offer compelling advantages for business decision makers, system administrators, and developers. By focusing on core principles of reducing costs and complexity while increasing application scalability, reliability and agility, Appistry will continue to look beyond industry expectations to deliver revolutionary technology—and benefits—to customers.
