The Port Authority’s Stewart International Airport marketing campaign utilized targeted communications to build awareness and support about the agency’s purchase of the airport and to promote it to key markets including: public opinion leaders, national and international aviation industry, travel/tourism industry, small businesses surrounding the airport, and residents of the region consisting of the counties of Dutchess, Orange, Ulster, Sullivan, Putnam, Delaware, Rockland, Sussex, and Pike.
Our challenges included developing several marketing outreach messages within a short timeframe to create awareness of our operation of Stewart Airport and the destination possibilities for customers.
